Activities at Ivy Farm

Pools

Our Outdoor Heated Swimming/Paddling Pools are very popular with all ages, from toddlers to senior citizen.  Pools are open from Spring Bank Holiday to the end of September (weather permitting). Surrounded by an attractive patio, complete with loungers and tables with parasols you can close your eyes and believe you are in some exotic far away location.

Play Areas

The children's play area with swings, see-saws, climbing frames and slide are popular with children of all ages.  The grassy play area is situated away from the road and caravans so children can play in complete safety.

A separate play area for toddlers means everyone can have fun!

Microlight Rides

Why not try the thrill of a microlight ride and see the area from above.  These can be arrange through reception.

Table Tennis

Why not have a game of outdoor table tennis.  If you forget to bring your own bats, you can borrow a set from reception by putting down a refundable £5 deposit.  But, please return them as soon as you have finished so other people can have a turn!

Boules

Boules sets are available at reception for a refundable £5 deposit.  The aim of the game is, to stand  with your feet together, and throw metal balls as close as possible to a small wooden ball called a Jack.

Pony Rides

During peak periods, pony rides are arranged once a week at Ivy Farm through a livery stables.

Fish and Chips

On Wednesday evenings, a fish and chip van comes to Ivy Farm - why not treat yourselves.

Ice Cream

The ice-cream van visits regularly too
