Covid 19 Update

Swimming Pool Update

Having taken all advice and guidance from the recognised national body Swim England's "COVID 19: RETURNING TO THE POOL GUIDANCE" documents, and taking in to account the shape and size of the pools at Ivy Farm, it has been decided that they will remain closed this year as they can not be opened safely for pool users.

David Bellamy Gold Award

In 2010 Ivy Farm enrolled in the David Bellamy Conservation Award scheme and were awarded with a Silver Accolade by Professor Bellamy. In 2013/14 we were awarded our first GOLD award, and we are proud to have received this again every year since.

We are committed to:

  • Work to enhance the value of our park for wildlife.

  • Assess the environmental impact of all current and likely future operations.
  • Reduce the pollution and waste produced by our park operations.
  • Reduce the consumption of all raw materials (including water), energy and supplies on our park
  • Encourage employees to be involved in and take a lead on environmental improvement projects.
  • Expect high environmental standards from all our suppliers and contractors.
  • Help our customers to do their bit for the environment.
  • Help our customers to enjoy the wildlife on the park and to participate in its conservation.
  • Work as a 'good neighbour' in our locality by supporting our local community and economy.
  • Support local conservation projects.

We are also a Honey Bee Friendly Park which is run in association with the British Beekeepers Association.
